Premier and Final Cut (PFC) will host and perform in this year’s A Cappella competition on March 3 at 7P.M.
A Cappella competition where high schools from the greater San Antonio area create beats of the songs they sing, in addition to singing the words, without any additional music. They are then judged based on tenacity, which is how well they blend, choreography, and how they sound as a group.
Premier and Final Cut, MacArthur’s A Cappella group, pays attention to tone and quality and practices vigorously to prepare for competition.
“We focus mainly on blending the songs and emotion behind them, and we make sure we have fun and enjoy what we’re doing,” junior Shaquille Menlendez, PFC member, said.
General admission is $10, and student tickets cost $5. Tickets are available at the door or at www.varsityvocals.com
