After weeks of speculation on tech blogs, Apple unveiled the new iPad and revealed, well, that’s just it. It’s “The New iPad.” Yes, that is actually what they’re calling it. A breakdown:
-The New iPad has LTE (an international standard for 3G and 4G devices, to put it simply, the iPad can now transmit and receive data faster).
-A much improved HD screen. Text and images are clearer and sharper.
-A faster processor.
-A five megapixel camera.
-Voice dictation, but no Siri for the iPad yet.
And that’s it. If I had an iPad already, I wouldn’t spend another couple hundred dollars for the upgrades it’s offering. This seems a lot like the iPhone 5; sure, it’s a noticeable improvement over the iPhone 4, but you’re not really missing anything world changing by using an iPhone 4.
