The Lady Brahmas (30-11) stood strong and victorious against the Johnson Jaguar (34-11) volleyball team in the region quarterfinals at Littleton Gym. Winning 3 sets to 1, the Brahmas kept their composure despite a few close faults and mishaps. The score of the first set was 25-21, the second 25-20, the third 18-25, and the last set 25-23. After being swept in both league contests against the Jags this season, the Brahmas fought for the win and proved to ultimately work well under pressure. Star players included Kelsey Huber with 14 kills and three aces and libero Miranda Barrera with 20 digs. This friday the Brahmas will take on McAllen Rowe at St. Mary’s University in the region semi-finals.
