Knitting Club Needs Members
Making an impact can start with the smallest action, and making an impact is exactly what the members of ‘knit club’ will do for people in need.
Even though this club is a work in progress , the goals of the club are already set and waiting to be reached.
“In knit club you will be taught how to knit and then donate the works to charity,” president of the knit club, Kaitlyn Estridge (12) said. “My plan is when we all get enough items knitted, we will donate the items to ‘Respite Care for San Antonio’, an organization that helps out the homeless.”
Knitting Club is looking for members who want to give back and or just learn how to knit.
“Everyone should join,” Estridge said. “Making people feel better and learning how to knit are just some of the benefits of being a member. I need as many people as possible to get the new club approved.”
If the new ‘knit club’ is approved, the meetings will be held in Mrs. Bell’s room D355, time and days to be announced.
If you’re interested in joining ‘knit club’ contact Kaitlyn Estridge during 6th lunch, or leave a comment below.
