The annual TMEA Pre-Area Mixed Choral auditions will take place at MacArthur High School in the afternoon until 10:00 PM. Registration will be in the cafeteria starting after school, and auditions will be held in various enclosed classrooms. Only the top ten TMEA Regional finalists qualify to try out, and the top five singers from each vocal part advance. Following Pre-Area is Area auditions, all leading up to TMEA All-State.
Several students from MacArthur are competing today in hopes of becoming a part of the TMEA All-State Mixed Choir. These people include: John Boehm (11), John Brooks (12), Trevor Crawford (11), Jackson Grosskopf (11), Marcus Kang (12), Nick Ruiz (11), Jordyn Crain (12), Hannah Curtis (12), Katie Gonsauls (12), Mackenzie Walsh (11), and Cailee Jo Whitefield (12).
