Everyone struggles with self-confidence and unfortunately there is no greater time with this struggle than in high school. All the stress, drama and heartache that can come can’t be summed up with explanation. With the school year coming to a near close, the struggle may be nearing its climax with prom.
With the pressures of prom, like the preparation, time, effort and not to mention the money, people get discouraged, but don’t stress.
Fear and intimidation may fill you up as you could look around and see how put together everyone else may seem.
As prom approaches, remember, it’s a time where you could just have fun and spend time with friends. It’s one of the last chances to hang out with them before the school year ends. It’s the perfect opportunity to seize the moment and ask that special someone to be your date.
If there was anybody that could stop you from being successful in all these, it’s you. No one should be able to tell you, you can’t, because you can.
“We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face… we must do that which we think we cannot.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
