Singing, dancing and high spirits will fill the air May 9-10 in the auditorium when choir puts on their annual pop show. This will be sophomore Stephanie Smith’s second time performing and she has high anticipations going into the show.
“I’m pretty excited,” Smith said. “The pop show last year was so much fun and I can’t wait to see how it turns out this year.”
The amount of work Smith and the rest of the students have put into preparing for the show will help relieve some of the stress come Thursday and Friday night.
“We have been preparing for the show since last month,” Smith said. “We started really practicing all of this week. It helps us make sure we are prepared for what is to come.”
Within all of their practicing the group has planned extra details to go with some the songs they will perform.
“I’m looking forward to the end the most,” Smith said. “We’re going to have a bunch of glow sticks to go with the song Firework by Katy Perry.”
The pop show will being at 7 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday and admission is only five dollars.
