Last night the boys basketball team (20-7, 4-5 district) lost 74 to 57 to the Churchill Chargers (18-3, 6-1 district). This seventeen point lead was the largest of the game. Leading scorers were MacArthur’s Matt Gramling with 21 points and Churchill’s Clark Lambert with 19 points.
With three games left until post-season, there is a crunch for the top four spots. WC is currently ranked 1st in region with Taft, Reagan and MacArthur below them respectfully.
This Friday, February 4th, the basketball team plays Reagan’s (23-5, 7-1 district) at Blossom Athletic Center.
