With the first nine weeks coming to a close, everyone has gotten back into the swing of things. Our dreary school schedules are now the norm again, and some of us are finally accepting that we WILL have homework every night. Talk about stress. But, nothing can soothe a stressful brain like something sweet. These brownies only call for 3 ingredients, and the cooking method is lenient, making this a very quick and easy recipe. So, push that English paper aside and take a 45 minute chill break to rest your tired brain. You can enjoy a much needed meditation period as these cook, indulge in the chocolatey goodness, and then finish your work with enough time to catch American Horror Story at 9 o’clock.
This recipe makes about 9 brownies.
Ingredients:
-
1 cup of Nutella
Story continues below advertisement -
10 tbsp of flour
-
2 large eggs
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Add all ingredients together in a medium sized mixing bowl. The order doesn’t matter.
Mix thoroughly with utensil of your choice. The batter should be pretty thick, but moldable.
Spread the batter into a glass baking dish. 8×8 is perfect; any bigger and the brownies will be too thin. Some molding may be required.
Bake for 30 minutes. A little less if you want them more fudge-like.
Poke a toothpick into the center to check if the brownies are cooked all the way through.
Let cool for 10-15 minutes.
Cut and serve.
Note: The brownies have a subtle sweetness and a cake-like texture. They are fine on their own, but if you have a serious sweet tooth like me, I would recommend making some Nutella frosting, using canned frosting, or just spreading some more Nutella on top. Nuts are also optional to add an extra crunch and to make the final product look pretty.
