Attention all late 90s babies or what’s left of us, anyways. 1. Codename: Kids Next Door
This show is centered around five children that live in a high tech tree house and identify under numerical code names. The kids use advanced technology to fight adult super villains, teenagers, and senior citizens that commit crimes against children.
2. Courage The Cowardly Dog
This famed horror-comedy cartoon focuses on the life of Courage, a timid, pink dog that lives in the “Middle of Nowhere” with his two elderly owners. Courage and his owners are continuously thrown into supernatural misadventures that leave Courage’s oblivious owners in distress and Courage left to save them.
3. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Here is the story of two friends who cheat at a game of limbo with the Grim Reaper and in turn win his unwanted friendship and eternal servitude. This cartoon follows the adventures of the dimwitted Billy and the sinister Mandy as they exploit Grim for his supernatural powers and get into shenanigans.
4. Ed, Edd n Eddy
This cartoon follows three adolescent boys that all have a variation of the name Ed and live in the same cul-de-sac. The boys’ main hobby is creating scams to rob neighborhood children of their allowances to buy their favorite candy, jawbreakers. However, trouble always manages to find the unlucky trio.
5. Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends
Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is a home where imaginary friends that are abandoned or outgrown by their childhood creators are sent to live until other children adopt them. In this cartoon, a young boy named Mac is forced to send his imaginary friend Bloo to Foster’s but makes a deal with the management; they will protect Bloo from being adopted as long as Mac visits every day.
6. Totally Spies!
This show follows three teenage girls and best friends that lead double lives as spies. The girls fight crime, but also deal with average teenage drama in their personal lives. With stress from homework to relationships to mean girl rivals, at least they get cool gadgets for their missions.
7. Camp Lazlo
Set in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, this comedic cartoon features the adventures of Lazlo the spider monkey and his friends as they endure summer camp at Camp Kidney.
