Leading the Rattlers to the top spot in district, while being a dominant force on both ends, senior Chuck Kendley is a lock for first team all district.
Clevon Brown, Churchill(11) 6’8 C – 16.8 ppg
Clevon is a game changer that can protect the rim, be an offensive monster in the paint, and can hit a 15 foot jumper with ease. He also is the best rim protecter in the district.
Asa Cantwell, Johnson(12) 6’2 G – 19.1 ppg, 3.9 apg, 5.6 rpg
A terrific three point shooter, Asa is also strong enough to take contact and finish at the basket which makes him tough to contain. He led the district in scoring for the entire season.
Kyle Murphy, MacArthur(11) 5’9 G – 15.3 ppg, 4.6 ast, .456 3p%
Kyle is a 3 point marksman with limitless range and a quick release. He also led the district in assists, which makes the game easier for his teammates.
Greg Bowie, Johnson(10) 6’2 G – 18.4 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 3.5 apg
Greg is an outstanding scorer that can elevate and finish seamlessly at the basket. He can also hit the 15-20 foot jumper consistently.
D.J. Johnson, Madison(11) 6’0 G – 16.1 ppg
D.J is one of the best players in the district when he attacks the rim. He’s athletic and skilled enough to knock down the three or drive in and finish over taller defenders.
Josh Bashford, Reagan(12) 6’1 G – 14.1 ppg, 3.7 apg, 2.4 spg
Josh is the primary ball handler of the run and gun Reagan team that led the district in scoring. He has great length which allows him to force turnovers and finish at the rim.
Jamal Monroe, MacArthur(12) 6’6 C – 10.4 ppg, 8 rpg, 1.1 bpg
Jamal is an elite rebounder and is arguably the most skilled post scorer in the district. He has the ability to get Mac easy points when they need them.
Second Team
Burone Edwards, Roosevelt(10) 6’5 F – 14.5 ppg
Burone is a great overall talent that will only get better with time, he is probably the most versatile player in the district.
Anderson Bazile, Reagan(12) 6′ G – 13.8 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 1.1 spg
An exceptional scorer, Bazile is Reagan’s primary three point threat, he also has the ability to defend quick guards .
Jake Kotzur, Madison(12) 6’2 G – 12.5 ppg
Jake is an exceptional ball handler and is one of the best shooters in the district.
Mark Sullivan, Lee(11) 6’1 G – 16.1 ppg
He is skilled at scoring in transition and in the paint, while also being a solid passer.
Logan Brooks, Madison(12) 6’6 F – 11.1 ppg
Logan is a solid defender and is skilled enough on offense to be a go to scorer at times for the Mavericks.
Kevin Luckey, MacArthur(11) 6’2 G – 9 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.4 apg
Kevin is an athletic swingman that can defend, run the break, and hit open threes.
Braeden Bernstein, Churchill(12) 6’4 F – 9.2 ppg
A hard nosed defender and a solid rebounder, Braeden always played with passion and fire that at times drove the team.
Nate Taylor-Velez, Johnson(12) 6’2 F – 10.2 ppg 4.6 rpg, 1.9 apg
One of the most athletic players in the district, Velez can finish at the rim and grab rebounds over taller opponents.
