Holding onto first place, the boys soccer team tied Churchill 0-0 March 3. Following not too far behind, Reagan, Lee, and Churchill round out the top four in district standings.
“[Churchill] is a good team,” senior goalie Jose Bermudez said. “I love playing against them.”

Bermudez recorded ten saves in the game with two crucial saves near the end of the game. One save came by the kick of his feet while the other resulted from a leaping play to knock the ball out of the area.
“I did my job,” Bermudez said. “The teams tied. I got one goal saved [by another teammate kicking it out], so without [the rest of the team] we would have lost.”
The looks to increase their district record of 5-1-2 (W-L-T) against Lee March 9 at 12 p.m. at BAC-East.
