Locking in the second seed in playoffs, the girls soccer team defeated Roosevelt 7-0 March 17. In addition to that, all senior team members saw playing time as part of “Senior Night.”

After recording a two goal lead, both scored by junior Kyra Falcone, junior Mary Cardone came out of the goal and onto the field, replaced by senior Halie Smith. Cardone would then go on to score with four minutes left in the game.

Other scorers for the night were: seniors Alex Steinmetz and Leslie Giles, junior Joanne Rios, and freshman Bella Von Toussaint. The team will end the district season Friday against Johnson at Comalander Stadium.
