You may be thinking to yourself, another coffee blog? And I’ll say, yes, another coffee blog.
But this time with a twist.
Revolucion coffee is not just a run of the mill coffee hut; they also sell fresh pressed juice. (Which is totally awesome if you ask me)
As of lately, many people have been on the trend of juice cleanses. Revolucion offers many juices that are good for the body and mind in a quite literal way. They only use fresh ingredients and air trade produce. (That’s also applicable for their coffee.) Though their juices seem expensive online, there are a lot of discounts available- especially if you sign up online.
The drinks are held in glass containers, which means BPA free and reusable, which is always a good thing. The staff seems very open to question about the product- honestly, they’re kinda funny too.
The layout of the establishment is open and inviting. Light colors adorn the walls and indie-esque decorations line the bar and seating area.
If you’re vegan or lactose intolerant, there are juice options that do not have milk in them. Instead, there is coconut, almond, and cashew options that will be added to the drink to give the feeling you are actually drinking milk.
I would recommend the juices Nourish and Serenity, but that’s just because I’m a sucker for sweet fruit in my drinks. If you’re more of a savory kinda person, Mean Green is a great boost for your day- as well as a fantastic way to fill up on essential nutrients.
Revolucion also offers pitaya and cold pressed juice paletas. The pitayas are bowls filled with fruit and some veggies, with types of granola or nuts. Pallets are popsicles with chucks of fruit frozen inside of the juice.
Winter is coming, and though popsicles aren’t exactly the warmest food for the season, fresh brewed coffee and juice can get you through the day in a great way.
