Ms. Erica Garcia is the new sophomore English teacher at school. For the last couple of years, Ms. Garcia taught at Kennedy High School then transferred here. She is from a small town in the valley and graduated from Texas State University.
Q: What is your favorite color and why?
A: “Teal because it is unique and a cheerful color that also gives off good vibes.”
Q: When is your birthday?
A: “August 29.”
Q: Most exciting thing you did this year?
A: “Starting this job, I love it and it’s been awesome.”
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: ” I love to read, I really enjoy to write on my spare time, I like walk my dog and take him to the dog park and just really hang out with my family when I can.”
Q: Would you rather travel back in time or in the future?
A: “I think I wanna travel to the future just to see what things would look like in about 5 to 10 years, but I’m a really firm believer in living in the now because there is no point in going back into the past; it’s not fun if you jump to the future without living through it day by day.”
Q: If you could tell anyone your favorite inspirational quote, who would you tell and why?
A: “I think I will tell Princess Diana because I’m a big big fan and I think her life was cut short.”
Q: What cheers you up?
A: “My dog, he cheers me up all the time.”
Q: What’s your favorite food, something you can eat 24/7?
A: “Tacos. Always.”
Q: What holidays do you celebrate?
A: “I guess I celebrate all the standard holidays but my favorite is Thanksgiving because I get to see all of my family.”

A: “Absolutely, I mean who wouldn’t?”
