The Mac vs Madison football game, (M&M Bowl), has been a tradition at our school for years. But this year, there is a twist. This year, we are raising money, and peanut butter jars, that can go to food banks, such as Children’s Hunger Fund, Snack Pak 4 Kids San Antonio, Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, Hungry Souls, and other charities in need. The football game is now also called the “Peanut Butter Bowl” in support of raising money and donations for these organizations.Â
“We all worked really hard to get a lot of donations this week”, football player, Reeve Brown said. “Helping out communities in need is important. I feel like including a fundraiser into our last game could make more people want to help.”
