The Time to be Kind
The week of December 6th-10th will be kindness/self-care week put on by the Unity club at MacArthur. Unity Club has put this on to help the students here at school as a reminder that Kindness Week is a week to celebrate and encourage students to perform random acts of kindness.
Monday is “Dream of Kindness” so wear your pajama bottoms and engage in random acts of kindness.
Tuesday is “Namaste after school for yoga” which is a 20-minute yoga session in the cheer shack before and after school at 8:15 a.m. and 3:25 p.m.
Wednesday is “complement a stranger day” which is just complimenting someone.
For Thursday it is “thoughtful Thursday.” Unity club and help from NHS members made 2,386 nice notes for each student on campus that will be delivered during FLEX class along with mindful test-taking tips to prepare for semester exams.
Friday will be “Resolution of Respect.” There will be a table at lunch for students to sign at No Place for Hate resolution. Unity Club is here to help students feel better and feel their kindness.
