Brahma Brew opened to the students and staff the school. Mac Deca has partnered with Community Coffee and is the first school coffee shop from San Antonio all the way to Austin. The school’s new coffee shop is located in A10 and customers can enter through the back door near the JROTC pad.
“Our goal at Brahma Brew is to provide students, faculty, and staff with a welcoming space to enjoy high-quality, freshly brewed coffee and create a sense of community within the school.” senior Quetzy Martinez said. “We aim to foster a positive, energetic atmosphere, a vibrant school culture and support productivity, creativity, and student well-being.”
Brahma Brew has their very own instagram account where we can see all information on prices and their menu @macbrahmabrew. The school district’s policy prohibits using credit cards, or any other electronic payment system, therefore all transactions must be done with cash only.
“Some goals that DECA hopes to accomplish for Brahma Brew is increase brand awareness and introduce new coffee drinks. We’re planning to expand our customer base through engaging marketing strategies, such as social media campaigns and community events.” senior Sophia Gomez said.
Overall, DECA is excited to be growing the school in different and creative ways. They hope to include students by having them volunteer and be more involved in the school. Those who volunteer to make coffee can build many useful skills for future jobs.
“The goal we have at Brahma Brew is to be a store where students and teachers can buy fresh and delicious coffee to start their morning with energy and motivation.” senior Jasmin Dominguez said. “We make sure our customers are satisfied with their purchase and give them what they want, so our customers can spread the word about our store and our clientele can grow.”
