March Madness NCAA Finals
While the month of March is coming to an end, March Madness and the NCAA Men’s Final Four is taking place. This event is where the top four men’s college basketball teams face off in the semi-final games. The semi-finals will take place on April 5 with the championship game taking place two days later on April 7, both at the Alamodome. With these games taking place, this event is expected to bring over 100,000 people to San Antonio.
Along with this major sports event happening, March Madness brings music fans into the picture. March Madness Music Festival will take place from Fri. April 4 to Sun. April 6. This event brings major artists to the city. Pitbull, Chris Stapleton, Doechii and Benson Boone are only four of the ten artists making their way to the Alamo City for this free event.
Other family-friendly events include a River Rally on April 5, a Reese’s Final Four Friday which showcases top senior student athletes from around the country on April 4, and even the Final Four Dribble which is an 18-year-old and under event in which participants dribble basketballs down the streets of downtown to a finish line.
All of these events and more will take place this week through next week while Auburn, Florida, Duke, and Houston face off to take home the trophy.
