The varsity volleyball team adds another non-district win after defeating the South San Bobcats. The Lady Brahmas’ won the first match 25-14, the second match 25-13, and the third and final match 25-9.
In comparison to last year’s season, the girls started off the season hot, winning two out of their first four non-district games. They also tied the Northside tournament 3-3, the North East tournament 4-2, and the Leander tournament 7-2. The girl’s heads seem to be in the game and each is player ready for another trip to the playoffs.
“Just like last year, we have the same goals. Doesn’t matter, district or non-district, you play every game to the best of your abilities,” senior Connor Plasters, hitter, said.
The Lady Brahmas play their first district game Friday, Sept. 9, 5:30 P.M. at Blossom Athletic Center against the Johnson Jaguars.
