Clean and Clear’s new look is geared towards the younger generation; buyers are instantly drawn in by vibrant color schemes and spunky product names.
Appearance:
The “Shine Control” edition to the Morning Burst line is package in a faded green squeezable bottle. The Clean and Clear logo can be found in a navy blue rectangle near the top half of the bottle. The cleanser is somewhat of a dull yellow with dark green and yellow micro-beads. It is infused with lemongrass and fruit extracts and is produced by the makers of Johnson-n-Johnson.

What I liked about this product:
I felt I got the deep clean that I expected. The “bursting beads” definitely distinguished the product; it was nice to feel the micro-beads work against my skin, as compared to a liquid cleanser. I also noticed a slight tingle when used with warm water. It is great at removing makeup, and is gentle enough to use on a daily basis. This product left me feeling refreshed and clean with each use.
What I disliked about this product:
Despite leaving my skin fresh, my skin felt somewhat tight, possibly due to the shine eliminating components that strip skin of its ability to produce natural oils. I also found it frustrating that, each time I used the product, a lot of cleanser leaked into the cap. I would also receive an excess amount of cleanser, as a result of the product opening from the bottom. The cleanser also has a somewhat runny consistency. In addition, I would have liked a different smell.
Who might enjoy this product:
This cleanser is for someone who may want a deeper clean, and is accepting of a more coarse texture in their facial wash. I do not suggest this product to anyone with excessively dry or sensitive skin.
Overall, I enjoyed this product; from it’s appearance to it’s results. It is perfect for anyone on the go, and it won’t break the bank. So if you are looking for a deep clean and shine reducer, this product is the way to go.
