Do you like music and poetry? What about mustaches? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you’re going to want to attend the Debonair Coffeehouse hosted by Bullseye, creators of MacArthur’s literary magazine. On September 29, students can participate in this open-mic event by sharing their original poems and songs. The event will take place in the black box theater on the 2nd floor of the fine arts wing and will include top hats, a string quartet and drum roll…free mustaches! For $3, you can attend this entertaining and creative night and sponsor a worthy school club. The merriment starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.
In addition to hosting the event, Bullseye is currently holding a poetry contest. All typed submissions are due September 30 and can be turned in at room C251 or to your English teacher.
