AVID juniors took a field trip to visit Texas A&M University Nov 13, 2013.
Visiting the school gives them the chance to think about where they want to attend a four year school and whether or not college is in their immediate plans after they graduate from high school.
“I found [the trip] fun, [because] I got to see what was around the campus and see what I could take, and[learn about] all the traditions [they have at the school].” Cody Smith, 11, said. “It motivated me, I can see myself going there.”
