Last night, the choir ended off our first semester with a show-stopping performance. The show started with a laugh-inducing skit performed by the men’s choir. They ran across the stage throwing paper snowflakes and detangling strings of Christmas lights while singing and dancing.
In between the boys’ songs, senior Jordan Rodriguez sang “Winter Wonderland”.
Senior Noah Hernandez wowed the crowd with his belting and riffs during his solo. He sang “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”.
Senior Andrew Lockett also sang a solo. He sang “The Man With the Bag” giving the song a comedic flair and making the audience roar with laughter.
The Cantate choir carried on the cheerful feeling by singing a song from “The Sister Act”. They even put cloth over their heads to complete the look.
Finally, the orchestra and percussionists joined the choir in their last three songs, including a reprise of the “Hallelujah Chorus”.
“It was astounding,” senior Charis Tate said. “We should’ve paid for all the art we got tonight.”
