Time is flying, so students better get ready if they seek AP credits. The 2025 AP Exams will be administered over two weeks in May: May 5–9 and May 12–16. Students who are taking AP courses will have their assigned test rooms at different times through various days.
Starting on Monday, May 5, the tests available for that day will be:
- AP Biology, Latin, and European History.
May 6th will be,
- AP Chemistry, Human Geography, and U.S Government and Politics
May 7th,
- AP English Literature and Composition
May 8th,
- AP Statistics, Japanese Language and Culture, and World History: Modern
May 9th,
- AP United States History, Chinese Language and Culture
And on the following week starting on May 12 there will be:
- AP Calculus AB and BC, as well as Music Theory
May 13th,
- AP French Language and Culture, Precalculus, and Physics 2: Algebra Based
May 14th,
- AP English Language and Composition, German Language and Culture, and Physics C: Mechanics
May 15th,
- AP Art History, Spanish Language and Culture, and Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
May 16th,
- AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based, Psychology, and Spanish Literature and Culture
Please Note
Depending on the AP course, some classes may not be assigned on these dates. For example, for those who are taking AP Research, their performance tasks will be due on the 30th of April. It is important that students verify their deadlines with teachers and staff if their classes are not on the list.
During test days, exams will start either at 8:00 AM or 12:00 PM. The duration of the tests are determined by the AP course that the student is taking.
Students must acknowledge the testing rules and be aware of the consequences of their actions such as cheating or having any sort of technology with them including Airpods.
For those who still need to pay their AP Exams, there will be an AP exam payment drive-thru on Saturday, March 1 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at the band practice pad. Cash or check will be accepted.
Other Information to Know
Advanced Placement (AP) courses provide opportunities for students to tackle college-level course work while still in high school, and potentially earn college credit and placement, so it is important for students to take the test seriously and study for them properly.
For extra help, there is tutoring available in the College and Career Center located in B120 which is found inside the Macarthur Library. Tutoring will be available during Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM. There students can work on their English, Science, Social Studies, and Math work from any level.
For those who are unaware of this program, Advanced Placement (AP) courses provide opportunities for students to tackle college-level coursework while still in high school, and potentially earn college credit and placement. These courses can provide many benefits for students and give them a headstart in their future educational careers. It is heavily recommended that students apply to these classes in the upcoming school year if they seek college admissions and are confident in their ability to learn.
