For the fall season the MacArthur Drama Department is performing A Midsummer’s Nights Dream by William Shakespeare.
The play runs October 13th through 15th at 7:00 PM and there is one Saturday show on the 16th at 2:30 PM. Tickets go on sale next week for $6.00.
The play tells the tale of Hermia (played by Vanessa Guadiana) and Lysander (Tony Vega), two young lovers who are forced apart by Hermia’s father and Hermia’s fiance, Demetrius (Kevin Davis). While their tale unfolds, a second story takes place in the forest outside their home, where the fairy king Oberon (Kaleb King) and his Queen Titania (Sarah Parrish) fight and plot against one another over the fate of a human child. Both tales are intertwined over the course of four nights.
