Ultimate frisbee is not that well known in the world of sports yet it found its way into our school about two years ago. Emilio Alvarez (class of ’10) started the ultimate frisbee club and now the club has gained about thirty members who enjoy the sport, and the number grows every year.
“The club has been around for a while. It’s a really fun group to be in,” Mr. Andrew Arnatt, club sponsor, said.
Ultimate frisbee has practice games after school every Wednesday and is open for anyone to join. They play officially against various other groups, such as N.E.S.A. (North East School of The Arts), in order to give a more competitive edge to the game.
“As always, the group is open to anyone grades 9-12 that want to join,” Mr. Arnatt said.
For information on how to join talk to Mr. Arnatt in room C251.
