The band will compete in the Bands of America (BOA) marching competition this Friday, Nov. 4 at 4:15 p.m. in the Alamodome.
The top scoring bands from the preliminary competition are selected to compete against each other for superior placement in BOA finals.
Mr. Robert Cameron, assistant band director , is going to contest with high hopes. The band has won 1st place in their seasonal shows throughout the year and made it to the important closing event.
“We are attending the BOA contest to compete against many well respected and known bands from across the state of Texas and to receive a professional evaluation of the marching show we have been preparing since August,” Mr. Cameron said.
