The volleyball team won 29-35 game season, with each player striving towards success. They reached the playoffs for the second year, and also winning their first match on Oct. 30, making the playoffs.
”Last year we lost in round two , and our goal was to make it past round two. We didn’t but that was definitely our goal,” setter Elizabeth Martin said.
The team tried to reach their goals for playoffs and athough they fell short, they still had fun with certain rituals throughout the season.
“We would always have like a dance party,” Martin said. “We always made sure we danced the wobble.”
The volleyball team continually put in their best effort throughout the season. As well of having fun dancing, the volleyball team had one final goal for the season.
“Win. That’s the goal, but every time we step on the court, play as a team, stay together,” defensive Lexie Hodapp said. “We call ourselves the sisterhood but [we] play for each other.”
