Ben Folds
Originally performing with bassist Robert Sledge and drummer Darren Jessee as ‘Ben Folds Five,’ Benjamin Scott (Ben) is a pop rock musician who characterizes himself with his instruments and sense of humor.
His career in music began in 1994 and grew exponentially with the release of seven albums until the group broke up in 2001. Since then Ben Folds has brought forth another 6 solo lp’s including Rockin’ the Suburbs (2001) and Way to Normal (2008).
Folds specializes in piano playing and vocals but has a knack for using other instruments such as the bass guitar, synthesizer, guitar and drums. Earlier this year he played a hilarious concert to random strangers on the site Chatroulette. The recording, as well as his countless other songs, can be seen on Youtube or through iTunes.
