American rock band, Evanecense, released their debut album ‘Fallen” back in 2003. All the songs have a unique twist to them, but overall really fits their vibe. The album starts off with hard guitar and takes a ride onto a more lyrical stance with more piano. But overall, the tracks are very poetic.
Track 1-Going Under
The first track on the album is a very upbeat opening. The lyrics and the melody are good, and overall a really nice song. I like this one because it’s very simple. This song has some amazing guitar parts in the background that really make the song.

Track 2-Bring Me To Life
One of the best songs on the album. For a lot of us fans, it’s very nostalgic to hear. It’s a very good sounding song, so even if you don’t know the meaning behind the song, it can still be enjoyed. This one’s beats are amazing, the piano opening to this song really makes it feel more beautiful, especially mixed with the hard rock music.

Track 3-Everybody’s Fool
This track is a very unique sounding one on the album, but it’s not necessarily bad. While it isn’t a favorite, I wouldn’t recommend skipping it. I do like how it is unique while still fitting with the vibe. The beats at the beginning really add a jesters feel to the song, which is cool/

Track 4-My Immortal
Being one of the most popular songs of the band’s career, it’s a classic. However, it isn’t the best version of this song. Feels a little bland compared to the other version. Its beets feel very dry with just the piano and not really anything else. (Rated further down).

Track 5-Haunted
This song has a very creepy feel to it. It really lives up to its name. I like how it literally gave me shivers when listening to it. The weird sounds they added to this song really make it better, and the transitions in this song are super amazing.
Rating: 4.5/5 stars
Track 6-Tourniquet
Has a very similar sound to most of the album, and has a very good sound. I really like this one because of its background beats. The quiet open straight to intense guitar is very good, and the effect they use on their voices makes it sound awesome.
Rating: 4/5 stars
Track 7-Imaginary
Feels a little off from the vibe of the album, but it’s still very nice to listen to. Not too good or bad. It opens with lyrical signing, going into hard rock sounds and it feels choppy, going back to very lyrical.
Rating: 2.5/5 stars
Track 8-Taking Over Me
This one has a very unique sound while still fitting into the album. Tracks like these really help to not find it repetitive. It feels very repetitive in the background beat sense, but the lyrics are nice.
Rating: 3/5 stars
Track 9-Hello
This track doesn’t exactly match the vibes of the album and really takes me out of listening to their music. Not really a big fan of how this one sounds. It is very quiet and boring. I skip this one every time.
Rating: 1/5 stars
Track 10-My Last Breath
This one isn’t too good in my opinion, but it’s better than others on the album. It seems very slow and repetitive. The beginning feels very cyberpunk with the beats, which is really random. And there isn’t really a beat change throughout the whole song, making it a little boring.
Rating: 2/5 stars
Track 11-Whisper
I honestly skip this one every time, not because it’s bad, but because I personally don’t like it. It feels very off, like it was thrown in there to add another track. The beats are very loud and fits well with the lyrics, this just isn’t my favorite.
Rating: 2/5 stars
Track 12-My Immortal (Band Version)
Comparing it to the original version, this one has a much better melody, instrument use, and execution. This I would say was my favorite song on the album. I love it. It really makes you feel the song in emotions. The piano use at the beginning feels layered, and the adding of the guitar and more drums, while making the notes they sing go together better, this version is much better.
