Last week, seniors were still picking up their cap and gowns for graduation. The reactions were varied. For some, it signaled the beginning of the end of their high school careers. Others could feel that senioritis had finally caught up to them.
“These past two months, I didn’t think senioritis was real…” Maria Lopez said. “I was like ‘What do you mean? We’re still in school.’ But lately, I’ve been feeling a bit more sleepy.”
With only a few weeks to go, seniors are encouraged to keep up with their grades and live in the moment before the year comes to a close. Here is an upcoming list of senior events:
- April 8th – Summa
- May 2nd – Prom
- May 6th – M Night
- May 20th – Last Day of School for Seniors
- May 21st & 22nd – Graduation Rehearsals
- May 22nd – Senior Walks at Regency Place Elementary, Harris Middle School, Bradley Middle School
- May 23rd – Graduation 7:30 PM
- TBA – Senior Sunset
