Have you ever wanted to be in a room surrounded by all different kinds of jewelry and trinkets for a whole day? Well, that is how Band and Color Guard, along with many others, spent theirs this past Saturday. The craft fair was held in the school cafeteria on Nov. 12, where there were booths and stands covered in all kinds of crafted items.
“We worked concessions,” sophomore and color guard member Vanessa Garcia said.
Everyone has a favorite part of the fair, whether it be the things they bought or just having the day to spend with friends. But for a lot of people, it was the community and seeing familiar faces return to the school.
“It was helping out people, and seeing how happy they were when someone bought something from them or sharing their experiences of how their life was at MacArthur when they were here,” Garcia said.
Whether crafts are your thing or not, it seems that this fair was a great experience for many of the people involved.
