The school’s track and field team achieved notable results at last week’s district meet, marking another year of victory and development. The boys varsity and JV teams both captured first place, deeply marking the boys program legacy with back-to-back district championships.
The meet was a display of exceptional athleticism and teamwork, with athletes from both teams pushing their limits to achieve remarkable results.
“The biggest challenges come when you’re not mentally prepared. Things happen, and we saw that during the 4 by 2,” area qualifier Jayden Snow said.
The varsity boys demonstrated their experienced skill, maintaining their performance very neck to neck, while the JV team showed promising talent by blowing out the competition and indicating a bright future for the program.
The school and community celebrate their outstanding achievement, eagerly anticipating their continued success in the upcoming regional competitions.
“Go after what you want. If you’re on track to win, go out there and win it. It’s really just a mental game on this track,” said Snow.
