A taste testing event was held at Bradley Middle School on Nov. 6, where students and families got to try possible new additions to the school menu. The event brought excitement to everyone as people went around trying different foods and sharing what they thought.

There were many interesting foods to taste, like pozole, ramen, birria quesadillas, Italian dishes and much more. Around each food section like breakfast, drinks, and main dishes, families could scan QR codes to rate what they liked the most. The school is also thinking about adding Poppi sodas, which many students said were really good.
“The event was really fun and I liked it a lot,” said Kaitlyn, a student who attended. “One of my favorite dishes was the ramen, and something I didn’t expect to like was the pumpkin bread. I’d rate the food overall an eight or nine.”

Most families and students were happy with all the new foods and said it was great to see the school trying different meals that students would actually enjoy eating. And they also liked that the menu included foods from different cultures and thought it made the event even more special.
The cafeteria staff and organizers appreciated the feedback and said they’ll use it to decide which foods could be added to future school menus.
“This event was really enjoyable and I hope for the school to keep making events like this,” said student Jordyn at the end of the event.
