

On Tuesday, students cleaned their glasses and stretched their suspenders in celebration of nerd day. Nerd day is a part of Red Ribbon Week and is morally designed to “outsmart” drugs and alcohol.
The nerds stuck out like a sore thumb. Many girls wore plaid skirts and pigtails while the guys wore dorky socks and a pair of shorts that weren’t quite long enough. Some not only dressed for the occasion, but also developed a nerdy persona to go along with it.
