To spread holiday cheer, the Senior Class sponsors, Rebecca Sibley and April Moyer brought holiday cheer with hot cocoa for the seniors on the Friday before finals week.
“The hot cocoa is ‘Polar Express before the Stress.’ It’s a callback to when you were in elementary school and you would get hot cocoa and popcorn and watch the ‘Polar Express’,” co-sponsor Rebecca Sibley said.
The hot cocoa will be served in the library at 8 a.m. to all seniors who have paid their senior dues.
“[Pickup] will be in room B120, inside the library, but off to the right,” Sibley said.

The hot cocoa does not come alone and will be included with the use of other toppings and treats to go along with the comforting beverage.
“We’ll start at 8 a.m., we’ll have it all ready and you’ll get to mix your own [hot chocolate],” Sibley said. “We’ll have marshmallows, maybe even some sprinkles, and pastries.”
This is a chance to indulge in the holiday festivities that bring nostalgia to all seniors who watched the “Polar Express” during their time in elementary school.
“It’s just something that we wanted to do for those seniors who paid their dues,” Sibley said.
