Hosting a dodgeball tournament on Friday, April 17, DECA organized the competition for all students to attend. In order to play, each student needs to pay for admission. It costs $10 for an individual person, or $5 for a team of four.
“We want to bring back the tradition of dodgeball tournaments,” senior president of DECA Karina De La Garza said. “We were like why don’t we pick it up again? ‘ See how it goes.”
DECA will raise money from admissions and concessions. Even if students don’t want to pay or play, they are more than welcome to watch.
“We’re trying to fundraise for our trip to Internationals next week,” De La Garza said.
Students can sign up using one of the QR codes around campus. All dues need to be paid by Wednesday, April 15. The tournament will be hosted in the gym.
